I’ve been storing almost ten years of bookmarks in Safari, bookmarks everywhere - here, there, nested folders bursting the filing cabinet metaphor. So I decided to clear out everything except what I actually USED on a regular basis. Everything else should go in del.icio.us, but I’m lazy. Here’s my new bookmark menu. Just four folders and a few things in my toolbar (not pictured: litwack.org folder, bloglines, gmail, eBay, and my del.icio.us bookmarklet.) So I know some of my favorites are embarassing, like Friendster (some of my friends still use it - at least I’m not romancing Brazilian girls on Orkut), but whatevs.
