Let’s get serious about the tech, shall we?

• After watching useage on my east coast trip, I’ve decided to swap my Treo for a Motorola SLVR L7c when it shows up on Sprint. I’m really into the idea of GPS on phone - check out what the Japanese are doing with “GPS dowsing.”
• Google Checkout $10 off $20 coupons - I used one at CD Universe to pick up Lost In Blue for my DS.
• Skype has free domestic calling through the end of 2006…I’m on the fence about maybe picking up a basic handset for $40 to take advantage. I only have a cell phone - might be nice to give it a rest once in a while.
• Barnes & Noble has much faster shipping than Amazon. Their prices are a little higher, but whatevs - I’m at the point with Amazon where I only order from their marketplace sellers because of how slow their free shipping is.
• Louis and I were playing networked TetrisDS in Philly, which was fun (and humbling - rematch, motherfucker). I’m gonna buy it, but in the meantime I’ve been practicing with Quinn for OS X - it’s free and pretty good.
• Rex redesigned and it’s so nice I’m skipping the RSS and go to the actual page.
