• Halloween: I actually only liked the first hour, the Michael backstory. HOWEVER! The whole thing made me think that Rob Zombie’s really talented, and now I’m looking forward to his next project. That isn’t Halloween II/10. Also: found out that Danielle Harris is 30 years old and not 17!
• King of Kong: Not as good as the advance buzz, however, amusing. What I haven’t heard about is how maybe the film was inspired by Joshua Bearman’s article for Harpers’ about Billy Mitchell. See for yourself.
• Superbad: Awesome. My only gripe: the meaninglessness of the cop B-story.
• Fido: Pleasentville meets zombies. Not funny, particularly, but fully-imagined.

Movies I have not liked: The Invasion, Interview, Magicians, I Could Never Be Your Woman (oh my GOD so bad), The Bourne Ultimatum (boring).

So-so: The TV Set, The Simpsons Movie, Cashback.

On my ‘to-see’ list: Rock The Bells, Inland Empire, The Razor Eaters, The Education of Charlie Banks, and maybe that new Evangelion movie when it gets subbed.
