UPDATE: PURCHASED. Hooray for the power of the internet! Basically Murakami’s only mass-produced sculpture, discounting the candy toys, and highly recommended.

Are you interested to pay US $9,000!
Jason Lee
Hi Jason,
Thanks for the offer, but that seems a bit high.
Best,
Geoff
There is a Norton Takashi Murakami on ebay
You shouldn’t pay more than $5-6000.
Cheers.
I paid much less than that
Next up: Kaws X Yue Minjun!
I have one that I am interested in selling. I have been advised that they have increased in value yet again and should fetch between $7-10k.

Hi Esther,
I’m not an art pro or anything, but I’d think if you want to maximize your return, maybe consignment to an art dealer in a major urban market?
Well, it turns out the the little dollhouse I found in the trash is Peter Norton’s Christmas Project gift 2002. Maybe this year WE can have a Christmas! All the furniture is still in unopened boxes. Every single piece plus an extra fireplace.
I actually feel a little bad wanting to sell it. I think Norton is so cool in doing this and he has great taste. But I really need the money.
So it goes.
Hi Cynthia,
It’s this?

If so, that’s awesome – what a find!
That’s it, but the least of it. The artist designed the fabrics that are on the furniture as well.
Yinka Shonibare is a VERY interesting artist–check him out!
Off to eBay I guess. Wish me luck! (or make me an offer!) LOL!
