I bought a kit of holographic plates from Integraf and a Type III laser from eBay, but I'm not quite ready to make my first hologram - I live on the twelfth story of an apartment building, and my parents don't have a basement, so I have to find another place to work where I will be safe from vibration.

I'm most interested in making stereograms. Steve Benton gave me my summer job at the Media Lab - I wish I had known to ask him about this.

I will post updates as I make progress.

I recently learned the Dr. Steven Benton passed away. I want to add my voice to the others in praise of this great man and his work.
